En tant qu'artiste canadienne d’origine ukrainienne, Tetyana Nechyporenko, également connue sous le nom d’ArtKvitka, crée des œuvres lumineuses, ornementales et florales inspirées de l’art folklorique Petrykivka. Ce style traditionnel de sa terre natale est inscrit depuis 2013 sur la Liste représentative du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’humanité de l’UNESCO.
Tetyana applique les éléments classiques de cette technique — des coups de pinceau bicolores ou tricolores en dégradé et des motifs délicats réalisés à l’aide d’un pinceau en poils de chat, outil emblématique du Petrykivka. En parallèle, elle intègre des éléments contemporains dans ses œuvres, mêlant authenticité et modernité, avec le désir de faire connaître le Petrykivka à un large public et de partager la beauté de la culture ukrainienne.
Tetyana travaille avec une variété de médiums : huile, acrylique, aquarelle.
Elle a étudié les arts en Ukraine, où elle a appris le Petrykivka auprès de maîtres de ce style. Elle a participé à un marathon Petrykivka et a présenté sa propre exposition personnelle de Petrykivka stylisé. Elle poursuit actuellement une formation au Milan Art Institute dans le programme Art Mastery, où elle intègre des éléments de Petrykivka à ses créations. ______________________________________

As a Canadian artist of Ukrainian origin, Tetyana Nechyporenko, also known as ArtKvitka, creates bright, ornamental, and floristic folk-art, inspired by Petrykivka. This traditional style of her homeland has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2013.
Tetyana applies classical elements from this technique - transitional dual/tri-color strokes and delicate patterns by a brush made from cat fur, a tool unique to Petrykivka. Concurrently, she incorporates contemporary elements in her paintings, uniting authenticity with modernity, striving to introduce Petrykivka to a wider audience and sharing the beauty of Ukrainian culture. Tetyana applies a spectrum of mediums - oil, acrylic, watercolor.
Tetyana studied art in Ukraine. She learned Petrykivka from masters of this style. She participated in a Petrykivka marathon and introduced her personal exhibition of stylized Petrykivka. Currently, she studies at Milan Art Institute's Art Mastery Program, incorporating Petrykivka elements into her creations.
