Daniel Carter, connu sous le pseudonyme de "Golden Fin", a été le pionnier du médium artistique qu’il appelle « psychofunkadelicamania », un terme qu’il a inventé pour décrire son processus unique. Fort de 35 années de pratique autodidacte et dévouée, Golden Fin crée des œuvres figuratives abstraites captivantes. Sa technique innovante consiste à faire tourbillonner et à presser avec minutie des argiles colorées sur des surfaces en verre, donnant naissance à des pièces vibrantes et texturées qui remettent en question l’art traditionnel de la céramique. Un thème constant de symétrie traverse ses « inspirations innovantes ». Une fois encadrées, ces peintures d’argile deviennent des expériences visuelles uniques, remplies de formes dynamiques et d’une énergie expressive. La mission artistique de Golden Fin est centrée sur la diffusion de l’amour et de la joie, avec l’objectif de toucher les spectateurs grâce à la force évocatrice de ses créations. Son travail a attiré l’attention de plusieurs articles de presse, et il a reçu un prix lors du concours d’impressions du Lexington Arts and Culture Council en 1996.

Daniel Carter, operating under the moniker "Golden Fin," has pioneered the artistic medium of "psychofunkadelicamania," a term he coined to describe his distinctive process. With 35 years of dedicated, self-taught practice, Golden Fin creates captivating abstract figurative works. His innovative technique involves the meticulous swirling and pressing of colored clays onto glass surfaces, resulting in vibrant and textured pieces that challenge traditional clay art. A constant theme of symmetry is found through out his "innovative inspirations". These clay paintings, once framed, become unique visual experiences, filled with dynamic forms and expressive energy. Golden Fin's artistic mission centers on spreading love and joy, aiming to engage viewers through the evocative nature of his creations. His work has garnered attention in several newspaper articles, and he was honored with an award at the 1996 Lexington Arts and Culture Council print contest.
